- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup basil pesto
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in pesto and heavy cream, then bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the skillet, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- Use store-bought or homemade pesto.
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
- Serve with pasta or roasted vegetables.
