Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
- Add lemon juice, dried parsley, and paprika to the sauce, stirring well to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the fillets. Cook for another minute to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or milk for a lighter version.
- Serve with rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
