Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Add lemon juice, dried parsley, and paprika to the sauce, stirring well to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the fillets. Cook for another minute to heat through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or milk for a lighter version.
  • Serve with rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
