Ingredients

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms until soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the pan.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and thyme.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
