Ingredients

- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
- Soak the sliced onions in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Coat each onion slice in the flour mixture, then dip in buttermilk again.
- Coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the onions in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
