  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix cooked rice, Parmesan, egg, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Take a spoonful of rice mixture, flatten it, and place a mozzarella cube in the center.
  3. Shape into a ball, ensuring the cheese is fully enclosed.
  4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until coated.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F.
  6. Fry rice balls in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels.
  8. Heat marinara sauce in a small saucepan.
  9. Serve arancini hot with marinara sauce on the side.
