Description
Crispy baked potatoes made easily in an air fryer. Perfect as a side dish or a base for toppings.
Ingredients

- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
- Wash and dry potatoes thoroughly. Prick each potato with a fork 4-5 times.
- Rub potatoes with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place potatoes in air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway, until skin is crispy and inside is tender.
- Check for doneness by inserting a fork. Cook longer if needed.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, brush with more oil halfway through cooking.
- Larger potatoes may need 5-10 extra minutes.
- Top with butter, sour cream, cheese, or your favorite toppings.
