- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Coat each piece in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth, heavy cream, and Dijon mustard. Stir well.
- Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the pan, coating it with the sauce. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F.
- For extra crispiness, double-coat the chicken with flour.
- Adjust mustard to taste for more or less tang.
