- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Beat the egg in another shallow dish.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer chicken to a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Pour sauce over chicken, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture.
- Adjust garlic to taste.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
