Make tender French dip sandwiches in your crock pot with minimal effort.

- 3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 6 French rolls
- 6 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Place beef roast in the crock pot.
- Add onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and black pepper.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred the beef with two forks.
- Toast French rolls and top with shredded beef and provolone cheese.
- Serve with small bowls of the cooking liquid for dipping.
Notes
- Use a lean cut of beef for less fat.
- Adjust cooking time based on your crock pot.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
