Description

A hearty and flavorful sandwich filling made with ground beef, onions, and a tangy tomato-based sauce, perfect for serving on buns.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the beef to a slow cooker. Add the onion, bell pepper, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  5. Serve warm on hamburger buns.
