- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the beef to a slow cooker. Add the onion, bell pepper, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Serve warm on hamburger buns.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
