Description

A comforting dish of chicken and noodles cooked in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups of carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups of celery, sliced
  • 2 cups of egg noodles
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, onion, carrots, celery, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
  5. Add egg noodles and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes until noodles are tender.

  • Adjust seasoning to your taste.
  • You can add peas or corn for extra veggies.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
