A flavorful and easy-to-make sandwich with Cuban-inspired flavors, cooked in a crockpot for tender meat and melty cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 lb pork shoulder, sliced
- 1/2 lb ham, thinly sliced
- 1/2 lb Swiss cheese, sliced
- 4 Cuban rolls or hoagie buns
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 8 dill pickle slices
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Layer pork shoulder and ham in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until meat is tender.
- Slice rolls and spread mustard on both sides.
- Layer cheese, meat, and pickles inside the rolls.
- Butter the outside of the sandwiches.
- Grill in a panini press or skillet until golden and cheese melts.
Notes
- Use leftover pulled pork for a quicker version.
- Press sandwiches firmly for the best texture.
