- 3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the roast on all sides.
- Place the roast in the crockpot.
- Add onions, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and French onion soup mix.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred the meat and serve with the juices.
Notes
- For extra flavor, brown the onions before adding them.
- You can add carrots or potatoes if desired.
