Ingredients

- 4 lbs boneless chicken thighs
- 2 cups BBQ sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 hamburger buns
- Coleslaw for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the boneless chicken thighs in the crockpot and pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce in the crockpot.
- Serve the BBQ chicken on hamburger buns and top with coleslaw if desired.
Notes
- You can prepare the BBQ sauce mixture a day ahead to save time.
- This recipe can easily be doubled for larger gatherings.
- Feel free to customize your toppings, such as adding pickles or jalapeños.
