- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chicken with olive oil, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through.
- Warm pita bread in the pan for 30 seconds per side.
- Assemble gyros by placing chicken, lettuce, tomato, and red onion on pita.
- Drizzle with tzatziki sauce and fold to serve.
