Classic deviled eggs made with hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, and spices for a creamy and flavorful appetizer.

- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- for garnish paprika
- for garnish chives or parsley
Instructions
- Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, cover the pot, remove from heat, and let sit for 12 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and place them in a bowl.
- Mash the yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chives or parsley before serving.
