  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add buttermilk, egg, melted butter, vanilla, and red food coloring. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into greased donut molds, filling halfway.
  5. Air fry for 6-8 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool donuts on a wire rack.
  7. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
  8. Dip cooled donuts in glaze and let set before serving.
