- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form the mixture into 12 meatballs.
- Bake meatballs for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- Heat marinara sauce in a pan and add cooked meatballs.
- Slice sub rolls and fill with meatballs and sauce.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
Notes
- Use fresh breadcrumbs for better texture.
- Add extra cheese if desired.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
