Description
Easy chicken noodle soup made in a crock pot.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup egg noodles
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Add chicken broth, water, chicken, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme to the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Shred the chicken with a fork.
- Stir in egg noodles and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Add more broth if you prefer a thinner soup.
- Freeze portions for quick meals later.
