Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken slices and coat well. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes until done.
  4. Warm pita breads in a dry pan for 1 minute.
  5. Fill pitas with chicken, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.
  6. Serve with garlic sauce.
