Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) chili beans
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Drain excess fat and add chili beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Mix cooked macaroni into the chili mixture.
  6. Transfer to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add hot sauce or jalapeños.
