Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 1 package (3 oz) raspberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Chop cranberries finely and mix with sugar. Let stand for 30 minutes.
  2. Add walnuts, celery, and grapes to the cranberry mixture.
  3. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water.
  4. Pour gelatin mixture over cranberry mixture and mix well.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a sweeter salad, increase sugar to 1.5 cups.
  • Substitute walnuts with pecans if preferred.
  • Use red grapes for a more vibrant color.
