- 3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 4 potatoes, cubed
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Place onions, carrots, and potatoes in the crockpot.
- Season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
- Place the beef on top of the vegetables.
- Pour beef broth over the meat and vegetables.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Remove the beef and shred it before serving.
Notes
- Use a leaner cut of beef for less fat.
- Add extra vegetables if desired.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
