A simple and delicious overnight breakfast casserole.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 12 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup diced vegetables (bell peppers, onions, etc.)
- 1 pound cooked sausage or bacon, crumbled
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the bread cubes in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread.
- Sprinkle cheese, vegetables, and meat on top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can customize with your favorite ingredients.
- Make sure to use stale bread for best results.
- This dish can be prepared a day in advance.
