Description
A simple recipe for pigs in a blanket using crescent rolls and hot dogs.
Ingredients

- 1 package of crescent roll dough
- 8 hot dogs
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- If using, place a small amount of cheese on each triangle.
- Place a hot dog on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the hot dog, starting from the wide end.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the dough.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

- Try different types of sausages for variety.
- Serve with mustard or ketchup for dipping.
- These can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
