A simple and quick side dish for dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 cup of rice
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of frozen peas
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a pot, combine water, olive oil, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Add the rice and stir once.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 18 minutes.
- Add frozen peas and fluff the rice with a fork.
Notes
- Use vegetable broth instead of water for added flavor.
- Adjust salt according to taste.
