Delicious and fluffy sourdough cinnamon rolls.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the sourdough starter, milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
- Add flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread brown sugar and raisins on top of the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place slices in a greased baking dish.
- Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use active sourdough starter for best results.
- Feel free to add nuts for extra crunch.
