- 2 cups fresh Thai basil leaves
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Thai chilies, chopped (adjust for spice level)
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and chilies. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground chicken. Cook until no longer pink, breaking it into small pieces.
- Stir in oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar.
- Add chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Turn off heat and stir in basil leaves until wilted.
- Serve with steamed rice.
