Ingredients

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the watermelon cubes and blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the watermelon juice through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove pulp.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar to the watermelon juice. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Pour in the cold water and mix well. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a fizzy version, substitute cold water with sparkling water.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar based on the sweetness of the watermelon.
