Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or your choice)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, place the flour. In a third bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dredge each fish fillet in flour, shaking off the excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the breaded fish fillets in a single layer in the basket, making sure they do not overlap.
  6. Lightly spray the top of the fillets with cooking spray.
  7. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or a squeeze of lemon.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the fish fillets in lemon juice, herbs, or spices before breading.
