Ingredients
Scale
- 4 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or your choice)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, place the flour. In a third bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dredge each fish fillet in flour, shaking off the excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the breaded fish fillets in a single layer in the basket, making sure they do not overlap.
- Lightly spray the top of the fillets with cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or a squeeze of lemon.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the fish fillets in lemon juice, herbs, or spices before breading.
- Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the fish fillets.
