Ingredients

- 500g white fish fillets, cut into chunks
- 400ml coconut milk
- 2 cups fish or vegetable broth
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red chili, sliced (optional)
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add chili and cook for another minute.
- Pour in coconut milk and broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Add fish sauce and sugar. Stir well.
- Gently add fish chunks. Cook for 5-7 minutes until fish is done.
- Remove from heat. Stir in lime juice.
- Garnish with cilantro before serving.
Notes
- Use firm white fish like cod or tilapia.
- Adjust chili quantity to your spice preference.
- Serve with rice or crusty bread.
