- 1 lb white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Lime wedges for serving
- Sour cream or your favorite sauce for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix flour, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each fish fillet in the buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture, followed by the cornmeal.
- Place the coated fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and crispy.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Assemble the tacos by placing pieces of fish on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded cabbage, avocado, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.
- Serve with lime wedges and your choice of sauce.
