Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a large bowl, melt the butter and stir in the sugar.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  8. Add chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cool, then cut into football shapes.
