  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in rice, beef broth, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring to a simmer, then cover and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove cover, top with Swiss and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
