- 2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 package fruit pectin
Instructions
- Prepare your canning jars by sterilizing them.
- In a large pot, combine strawberries, lemon juice, and pectin.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Add sugar all at once and stir until dissolved.
- Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and skim off any foam.
- Pour hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
- Seal jars with lids and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

- Store sealed jars in a cool, dark place.
