Description
A delicious fresh strawberry pie made without jello.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 pre-baked pie crust
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, mix sugar and cornstarch.
- Add lemon juice and sliced strawberries to the saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
- Pour the strawberry mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
- Allow to cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Top with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Use a homemade or store-bought crust.
