Crispy fried jalapeno poppers stuffed with cheese.
Ingredients

- 10 jalapenos
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F.
- Slice jalapenos in half and remove seeds.
- Mix cream cheese and cheddar cheese in a bowl.
- Stuff jalapeno halves with the cheese mixture.
- Coat stuffed jalapenos in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Fry jalapenos in hot oil until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
- Use gloves when handling jalapenos.
- Adjust spiciness by leaving some seeds.
- Serve with ranch dressing or salsa.
