- 2 lobster tails
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the lobster tails in half lengthwise.
- In one bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and buttermilk together.
- In a third bowl, place breadcrumbs.
- Dip each lobster tail half in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry the lobster tails in hot oil until golden brown, about 4-6 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add garlic powder to the flour.
- Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying.
- Try serving with lemon wedges.
