- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz (225g) pasta of your choice
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and no longer pink (5-6 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Add red pepper flakes (if using) and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add cooked pasta and mix well. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for better melting.
- Adjust cream thickness by adding a splash of pasta water if needed.
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
