Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (seasoning discarded)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 egg, soft-boiled (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add ramen noodles and cook for 3 minutes until tender.
  5. Return chicken to the pan. Stir in chili flakes and black pepper.
  6. Garnish with green onions and a soft-boiled egg if desired.
  7. Serve hot.
