  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice French bread lengthwise.
  3. Mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Spread butter mixture evenly over both halves of bread.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Place bread on baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese melts.
  7. Broil for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
