Description

A delicious sandwich with garlicky shrimp and melted cheddar jack cheese on crispy ciabatta bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 ciabatta rolls, sliced in half
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar jack cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  4. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
  5. Butter the ciabatta rolls and toast lightly in the same pan.
  6. Divide cooked shrimp among the rolls and top with shredded cheddar jack cheese.
  7. Place under a broiler for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
