A delicious sandwich with garlicky shrimp and melted cheddar jack cheese on crispy ciabatta bread.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 ciabatta rolls, sliced in half
- 1 cup shredded cheddar jack cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
- Butter the ciabatta rolls and toast lightly in the same pan.
- Divide cooked shrimp among the rolls and top with shredded cheddar jack cheese.
- Place under a broiler for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
- May substitute mozzarella or pepper jack cheese if preferred.
