Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted (for filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in it.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add melted butter and eggs to the flour mixture.
  4. Combine with the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise for 1 hour, covered.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread melted butter over the dough.
  8. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the butter.
  9. Roll the dough tightly and cut into thick slices.
  10. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  12. Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
