Golden air fryer chicken tenders with a crispy outside and juicy inside. Quick, easy, and healthier than deep frying.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each tender in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, spray again, and cook another 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • For gluten-free, substitute gluten-free breadcrumbs and flour.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
