- 1 9-inch pie crust (pre-made or homemade)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp edges.
- In a bowl, mix sugar, corn syrup, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
- Stir in pecan halves.
- Pour mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the filling is set.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Use room-temperature eggs for even mixing.
- If the crust browns too quickly, cover edges with foil.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
