Description
Delicious gooey cinnamon rolls with a rich glaze.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter (softened for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, butter, eggs, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter on dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds before serving.
- For extra gooeyness, add more butter to the filling.
