- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, and eggs to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar to make frosting.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- For extra gooeyness, add more brown sugar.
- Use a stand mixer for easier dough preparation.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
