Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Shape into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Combine yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, and dill to make tzatziki sauce.
  6. Serve meatballs with tzatziki sauce.

Notes

  • Drain grated cucumber well to avoid watery sauce.
  • You can pan-fry meatballs instead of baking.
