Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices fresh mozzarella
  • 2 slices ripe tomato
  • 4 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 ciabatta or sourdough rolls
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  4. Remove chicken from grill and let rest for 2 minutes.
  5. Slice rolls in half and lightly toast on the grill.
  6. Assemble sandwiches by placing chicken on the bottom half of each roll.
  7. Top with mozzarella, tomato slices, and basil leaves.
  8. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
  9. Cover with top half of the roll and serve immediately.
