Description

This grilled corn on the cob is slathered with a delicious garlic butter that adds incredible flavor to the sweet, smoky corn.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears of corn, husked
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Husk the corn and remove all silk strands. You can soak the corn in water for about 10 minutes if desired, which helps to keep it moist while grilling.
  4. Place the corn on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and lightly charred.
  5. Once cooked, remove the corn from the grill and immediately spread the garlic butter mixture over each ear of corn.
  6. If using, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder to the garlic butter.
  • Feel free to experiment with different herbs or cheeses for a unique twist.
  • Leftover garlic butter can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
