Description
This grilled corn on the cob is slathered with a delicious garlic butter that adds incredible flavor to the sweet, smoky corn.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ears of corn, husked
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Husk the corn and remove all silk strands. You can soak the corn in water for about 10 minutes if desired, which helps to keep it moist while grilling.
- Place the corn on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and lightly charred.
- Once cooked, remove the corn from the grill and immediately spread the garlic butter mixture over each ear of corn.
- If using, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder to the garlic butter.
- Feel free to experiment with different herbs or cheeses for a unique twist.
- Leftover garlic butter can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
